General Information
The origins of the Manisa Celal
Bayar University (MCBU), Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
(FEAS), which is the first and the only higher education institution in Manisa,
goes back to Ege University Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences
founded in 1975. FEAS is the founding faculty restructured under the auspices
of Manisa Celal Bayar University established by Law No. 3837 dated 1992. It is
MCBU’s oldest and largest faculty, at the core of the University’s distinctive
mission.
The Department of Business
Administration offers the following undergraduate and graduate programs;
Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Business Administration (MSc), and Doctor
of Philosophy (PhD). For the MSc degree, students may specialize in the
following areas; Accounting and Finance, Management and Organization, and Marketing
and Production Management. For full-time working adult learners, The Department
of Business Administration offers an MBA degree in Business Administration with
a management concentration.
Currently, 6 full-time professors,
11 associate professors, 10 assistant professors, 1 senior lecturer and 8
research assistants continue their teaching and research activities at MCBU
FEAS.
The Department of Business
Administration under FEAS brings together multiple business disciplines to
nurture a diverse and supportive learning community. Business Administration
degree programs emphasize the development of professional business skills and
competencies, preparing students for leadership positions in industry.
Our undergraduate program in
Business Administration provides exposure to all core areas of business, while
selective courses offer distinct concentrations in Accounting and Finance,
Management and Organization, Marketing and Production Management, and
Quantitative Methods.
Graduates can be found in a wide
variety of business and public organizations, including management
consultancies, multinational companies, marketing agencies, banks and insurance
companies, entrepreneurial firms, non-governmental organizations, governmental
and regulatory agencies, and retail companies among others.
At MCBU, we are well-known for
producing hard working, well-prepared graduates. We have thousands of graduates
of the department of Business Administration since our inception and they are
making a difference in their companies, organizations and communities. As the
